A log/blog/worksheet of Geoff's ponderous Learnings of the new net.

This is a journal/blog/worksheet of Geoff's ponderous learnings of the new innovations in web and computer technology. A slow learner at the best of times, Geoff's learning, information acquisition style could be likened to the acquisition behaviour of the carpet snake. See the one below which he discovered in his shed in November of 2007. Or maybe his brain is set up like a gigantic hard drive with not enough ram; ( a huge meal of memory with not enough digestive/regurgitive power); or maybe he has a huge hard drive and a befuddled mother board.

This is the beginning of Geoff Shera's blog/notes/exercises as he wades through the world of the internet literacy in "Web 2 technologies" with his brain like the belly of a carpet snake. This is Geoff's interaction with the web which is inspired and led by the brilliant innovation of improving information literacy in the BCC Libraries workplace via the "23 things" information literacy programme. Mr Shera is not the sharpest tool in shed and learns in his own ponderous, hands-on way requiring much communication with fellow human to learn things. Mr Shera loves this sharing of information like a camel loves an oasis.
